The Cyclery is The District’s bike rental, service, and sales shop. With more than 35 years of bike mechanic experience, our technicians can handle repairs ranging from a flat tire to antique bike restorations. Our Lead Mechanic, Karl, is certified by PBMA (Professional Bicycle Mechanics Association), Shimano S-Tec and Bosch for E-Bike Systems. At our convenient location in Glen Arbor, we guarantee a fast turnaround so you can get the most use of your bike!

Wash: Care for dirty/rusty bikes
Safety Check: The ABCs – Air tires, check Brakes, lube Chain (drivetrain), and perform a “bumper to bumper” assessment
Standard Tune-Up: All Safety Check services plus: inspect all parts for wear, adjust shifting, brakes, and bearings, properly torque all nuts and bolts, and true wheels (to the brake pads on the bike)
Major Tune-Up: All services from Standard Tune-Up plus: Bike wash with the removal, degreasing, cleaning, and lubrication of drivetrain parts.
Overhaul: All services of Major Tune-Up plus: Rebuilding of all loose ball bearing sets or replacement of sealed cartridge bearings, replace cables and housings.
