- Because of the nature of our business, candidates must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- You must also be willing to work outside in the elements including heat, sun and possible rain for long periods of time
- Many positions require the ability to lift equipment, boxes, etc. Therefore, we require candidates to be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Perform daily store maintenance duties including but not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, empty trash, cleaning, and the like.
- Kayak Valets hired at Crystal River Outfitters who have a driver’s license issued from the State of Michigan are required to have a Chauffeur’s License. For more information on how to obtain a State of Michigan Chauffeur’s Endorsement visit here. Those who have driver’s licenses issued from other states, each state may have its own version of this license. If hired, our Recreations Operations Manager will work with you to ensure you have what is needed before the season starts.

All shops with the District are open 7 days per week. Therefore, candidates must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
