Since 1994, Crystal River Outfitters has safely sent locals and visitors on exciting paddle trips down the Crystal River. For over 20 of those years we have offered access to this wonderful adventure for our guests of all ages and established a great partnership with Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
We have expanded our business, now known as the Crystal River Outfitters Recreational District (The District). It includes bicycle rentals and bike service via The Cyclery. Coastal is our premier shopping destination featuring upscale clothing, footwear and home goods with a fresh, lake-inspired style. Wine tasting, entertainment, shopping and special events via M22 Glen Arbor.
Owners since 2004, Matt and Katy Wiesen take pride in showcasing the Crystal River, Glen Arbor, and the surrounding attractions to our guests. The goal is to provide the highest level of customer service ensuring future generations the same pristine environment found by paddlers of today. All this while keeping a deep commitment to safety and providing year round opportunities for customers and employees.

Katy & Matt have a year-round team committed to these ideals. Led by their General Manager, Linette, a Leadership Team of Nick, Julia, and Kelly see that Retail and Recreation Operations run smoothly. The stores are all inviting due to the personalities of managers and associates Kait, Chelsey, Lucy, Karl, Dee, Leanne, and Bill.
