SUPPORT A NEW CAUSE FOR 2023 AND A CAUSE SO NEAR AND DEAR TO OUR HEARTS!

Our 2023 trees have all been sponsored, but you may make a monetary donation to Kelly Florip and Family. Your name will appear on our Giving Tree.

If you have been in Coastal, Crystal River Outfitters and The Cyclery and have admired the amazing clothing, footwear, accessories, gift items, custom items, a LARGE majority of this work is owed to our own Kelly Florip, our Crystal River Outfitters Recreational District Lead Buyer. Kelly has a talent for style, inventory management, number crunching and all things retail! She is constantly ordering, replenishing, and monitoring inventory levels from in the shop or at home. She’ll swoop in in the wee hours of the morning and rearrange the store to freshen things up. She does this all with a smile on our face and an “it’s fine” attitude!

What you probably don’t know is that Kelly also battled breast cancer at the age of 30. She made it through surgery and chemo like a champ and even went on to have another daughter, Mylah just two years ago (at that time Mylah joined her sister Mabel who is now 8 and her high school sweetheart/our beloved & former Crystal River Outfitters Lead Staff Member Nick Florip) Unfortunately, in August of this year- 7 years after her first diagnosis, Kelly discovered another lump and the cancer has returned. Kelly has another fight ahead of her.

We’re inviting families, groups or individuals to sponsor a tree to decorate this holiday season for our 3rd Annual Strolling Lights Festival. The proceeds from this year’s festival will go to Kelly Florip & her family to help with medical and travel expenses as she is working with Henry Ford Hospital.
