Crystal River Trips
Experience the thrill of the Crystal River! Our favorite trip is a 2 to 3 hour paddle down the Crystal River. This trip takes you seven miles, almost entirely through National Lakeshore property.
Our crew will drive you to the head of the Crystal River, where you will be personally outfitted with the boat of your choice, paddle, and lifejacket, before entering beautiful Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Questions on kayaking or canoeing? Our experienced crew will offer paddling instructions for first-time paddlers.
Upon first glance, you’ll be amazed by the clear water and sandy bottom of the Crystal River; this is just the beginning of your unbelievable experience! Throughout the trip, you’ll see Northern Michigan’s true residents: White Tail Deer, Blue Heron, Bald Eagles, otters, turtles, frogs and endless amounts of fish.
